Gov. Hassan Signs Three Bills Out-of-Doors, Praises Bipartisan Action

Edith Tucker, Coos County Democrat, Sept. 17, 2014:

“…Both Hassan and state Senator Jeff Woodburn of Dalton, who was prime sponsor of both Senate bills that were signed on Friday, praised the grass-roots efforts of concerned citizens of the towns through which the Portland Pipe Line runs: Shelburne, Gorham, Randolph, Jefferson and Lancaster…

Woodburn praised [Attorney Sheridan] Brown’s work ethic and focused determination that had him up staying up nearly all night to re-work one of the bills that ultimately passed thanks to his willingness to find a last-minute accommodation only hours before it was scheduled for a vote…”
